Biomechanical Assessment

The Biomechanical Assessment with Rocky Snyder, CSCS is an in depth 90-minute appointment. Rocky works to understand how your body subconsciously moves through all three planes of motion using different assessments including, but not limited to:

  • Static Posture Analysis
  • Gait Analysis
  • Dynamic Joint Assessment
  • Gait-Based Movement Patterns
  • Am3® Force Plate Technology
  • 3D Foot Mapping
  • Open Chain Foot Assessment

These assessments detect improper movement patterns, muscle inhibition, and lead to the re-education of your muscles and nervous system to bring your body into a more balanced, optimal position. Rocky will send you home with movements to practice, any equipment you need, and photos and videos of the movements for your use.

Functional Assessment

The Functional Assessment is a 50-minute appointment that utilizes posture analysis and joint mechanics as a compass for designing your personalized conditioning program. Understanding how your unconscious mind negotiates the segments of your body against gravity reveals which muscles are working too much and which are working too little.

By understanding this process we gain necessary insight into unlocking your restrictions for greater freedom of movement and less likelihood of injury. This assessment allows us to understand what your physical body requires to make you stronger, more flexible, better aligned, and almost bulletproof.
